What is Keto?
The ketogenic (keto) diet is a low carb, moderate protein, and high fat diet that puts the body into a metabolic state known as ketosis. When the body is in ketosis, it uses stored fat for fuel instead of the food you eat, resulting in fat loss. Popular keto foods include: meats, avocado, bacon, green leafy veggies, berries and nuts. Restricted foods include: bread, sugars, pastas, rice, etc.
